PEEBOARDS (SPAIN)

Imagina Más (equality, sexual health & diversity NGO) uses special water-repellent technology to show STI awareness messages when people urinate in the streets.

Brief Description

During Pride celebrations in Madrid, those who urinate in the streets were able to see a special message on how easy is to test for STIs.

In addition to the impactful urine-activated messages, the campaign features digital activations on social media, a launch video, and a website, www.mupis.info, where detailed information about all types of STIs can be found.

The campaign’s online platform also provides individuals with the information needed to locate the nearest STI testing center to book an appointment.

Why is it significant?

It combines creativity and innovation to raise awareness about STIs.

By transforming something as simple as pee in the street into such a timely and powerful message, this campaign aims to inspire conversations and drive change in the fight against STIs for young people.
